Hedge
Text and image work together to expand both time and space in an investigation of what takes place during the act of photographing. These peculiarities and observations are so often never communicated within a resulting image. Each character of text discloses a partial component of the image discussed. The play between image and text simultaneously reveals and distorts the original content of each element. Additionally, Hedge addresses public and private spaces through the multiple perspectives of homeowner, city official and the neighbor photographer.
