Produce Your Own Photography Book

Showcasing your images in a self-published photographic book can be a powerful tool. A book can provide photographers with a variety of options.  Books can be used to promote projects to publishers, curators, collectors and gallery owners.  The book format also promotes credibility, increases recognition and can show off a variety of commercial services.  With more and more on-line sites offering self-publishing services it can be overwhelming to research which sites are credible, user friendly and right for your specific project.  Join Amanda Keller-Konya as she assists you in understanding the options available, getting your book project off the ground and how to promote the final product.
Students should have at least 10 completed images ready for book production. To follow along with in-class demonstrations, students are encouraged to bring their own laptops loaded with Photoshop (and a mouse or graphics tablet, if they have one). A basic knowledge of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements is helpful but not necessary.
